AUTOMATION ENGINEER

The partner:

We are looking for an Automation Engineer for an multinational company operating in the field of automated connection and electrification systems for ports, airports and industry worldwide.

The role:

• Define the tasks of the system on the basis of the functional specification and electrical diagram

• Design of the automation system architecture and selection of the automation hardware

• Design electrical schematic for LV control switchgear (LV/MV power switchgears would be a plus)

• Variable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization

• Software downloading and testing

• Selection of field instruments and sensors

• Start up on site when required

• Training to the Operators on site when required

• Technical support to service team for trouble shooting on site job

Mandatory skills:

• Engineering background in Automation, comprehensive of following know-how:

• Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive System main manufacturer (ABB, Siemens, Vacon-Danfoss, Rockwell, Toshiba, Yazkawa, Beckhoff)

• Knowledge of electrical equipment, such as motors, actuators and feedback transducers

• Selection of the control equipment and set-up of parameters customization

• Fluent in English (B2)

Location:

Nova Milanese (MB), travel required up to 30%.
